Our client is seeking a proactive Customer Service Representative and Sales Assistant to serve as the organizational backbone for their sales and account management team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a knack for keeping teams on track and clients engaged. You will manage the "gears" of the sales process—from CRM hygiene and calendar coordination to qualifying lead interest—ensuring that no opportunity falls through the cracks.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Alberta, Canada Time (42.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Provide day-to-day assistance to the sales team, ensuring tasks, follow-ups, and priorities are executed on time.
  • CRM Management: Log activities, maintain clean customer records, tag contacts, and meticulously track stages in the sales pipeline.
  • Outreach & Qualification: Make outbound calls and send follow-up messages to prospects to confirm details, qualify interest, and schedule demos (no "hard closing" required).
  • Document Coordination: Draft and send proposals, trial access instructions, and recap emails using provided templates.
  • Calendar Mastery: Schedule and confirm meetings across various time zones, ensuring all invites include the necessary links and briefs.
  • Communication Management: Monitor shared inboxes or chat channels, responding to routine inquiries and escalating complex issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Reporting: Prepare simple daily or weekly reports summarizing key metrics such as calls made, emails sent, and meetings booked.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, Telesales Representative, or Customer Support Specialist in a remote environment.
  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English with a professional, friendly, and confident phone manner.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CRM systems and productivity suites (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365).
  • Efficiency: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
  • Reliability: Comfortable working independently with a results-oriented mindset and a quiet, professional home office setup.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to meet activity targets (e.g., call volume and CRM data accuracy).
  • Experience coordinating schedules across North American time zones.
  • High attention to detail, specifically regarding lead notes and next-step summaries.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
