Role Overview
This is a mid-level U.S. Accountant position, requiring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in U.S. accounting. The role is ideal for a technically strong accountant who can operate independently, support day-to-day accounting operations, and ensure compliance with U.S. standards while working in a remote, cross-functional environment.
While the scope includes ownership of core accounting functions, this is not a senior or executive-level role.
Responsibilities

Establish and manage U.S. accounting operations for the newly formed entity

Handle revenue accounting for new and existing customers

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
-
Collaborate with the global finance team to align U.S. accounting processes
-
Implement and optimize accounting systems and workflows tailored to U.S. operations
-
Provide financial analysis to support U.S. growth initiatives
-
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required

Support administrative and operational accounting tasks as needed
Requirements (Must-Haves)

3–5 years of hands-on experience in U.S. accounting practices

Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting

Proven experience in revenue recognition

Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly
Preferred / Nice-to-Have

U.S. CPA certification (advantageous but not mandatory)

Experience supporting or working with collection agencies

Experience setting up accounting processes for newly established entities
