Inbound Legal Intake Specialist

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST

Job Description: 

You’ll be the vital first impression for potential clients reaching out for legal help. This role combines your communication expertise with sales skills to ensure every person who calls gets professional attention and connects with the legal representation they need. You’ll work directly with an experienced attorney to manage a steady flow of inbound inquiries and help grow a practice that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound phone calls from potential clients responding to firm marketing (95% inbound focus)
  • Qualify leads and schedule telephone consultations with the attorney using the firm’s calendar system
  • Execute lead qualification and appointment setting protocols.
  • Handle general client inquiries and provide professional customer service in a legal environment
  • Respond to occasional text messages and other client communications as needed
  • Perform related administrative tasks to support client interaction and case development
  • Maintain high show-up rates for scheduled consultations through effective appointment setting
  • Ensure every potential client receives professional, empathetic service during their initial contact

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional, empathetic phone manner
  • Strong inbound sales background with proven ability to qualify leads and set appointments
  • Experience gaining commitment from prospects and converting inquiries into scheduled meetings
  • Professional demeanor suitable for working in a legal environment with sensitive client matters
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment for confidential client calls
