E-commerce Growth Specialist

About the Role: The client is seeking a results-driven E-commerce Growth Specialist to take full ownership of our online storefront and digital presence. You won't just be managing a page; you will be responsible for driving sales on Shopify and increasing our brand authority on Instagram and Facebook. We are looking for a candidate who understands the "why" behind the data and can proactively suggest strategies to grow the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shopify Management: Manage product listings, optimize descriptions for SEO, and monitor inventory levels.
  • Sales Optimization: Implement "upsell" and "cross-sell" strategies within Shopify to increase Average Order Value (AOV).
  • Social Media Growth: Create and schedule engaging content for Instagram and Facebook designed to convert followers into customers.
  • Lead-to-Sale Conversion: Actively engage with comments and DMs to guide potential customers toward a Shopify purchase.
  • Data Reporting: Provide weekly reports on Shopify sales, website traffic sources, and social media engagement rates to justify growth.
  • Marketing Admin: Handle basic email marketing (Klaviyo/Mailchimp) and promotional banners to keep the store "fresh."

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing Shopify stores with a focus on sales growth.
  • Strong background in Instagram/Facebook marketing (experience with Reels/Stories is a must).
  • Ability to read Shopify Analytics and Meta Business Suite to identify what is working.
  • Ability to work independently without "winging it"—you should come to meetings with a plan.
  • Portfolio required: Impact Profile Mandatory (All candidates for the E-commerce & Social Media Growth Specialist role must provide an Impact Profile or Portfolio along with their application.)
    • What to look for:
      • Shopify Data: Evidence of sales growth, conversion rate optimization, or AOV (Average Order Value) improvements.
      • Social Media ROI: Proof of growing Instagram/Facebook accounts that directly resulted in Shopify traffic or sales.
      • Strategy vs. Tasks: Evidence that the candidate uses data-driven frameworks rather than just performing administrative tasks.
      • Case Studies: "Before and After" scenarios showing tangible business growth from previous managed accounts.
