Job Description: You’ll be the vital link between patients and their healthcare journey, managing critical touchpoints that directly impact patient care and satisfaction. This role puts you at the center of medical operations where your communication skills and attention to detail make a real difference in people’s lives. You’ll work directly with patients while supporting a dedicated medical team committed to excellence in sports medicine and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming patient calls with professionalism and clear communication
- Upload and manage medical records across multiple healthcare portals and systems
- Conduct patient follow-up calls for appointments, treatment plans, and care coordination
- Perform medical receptionist duties including scheduling and patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure proper record keeping
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and practice staff on patient care matters
- Provide administrative support for medical practice operations
- Ensure all patient interactions meet HIPAA compliance standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in medical administration or healthcare support roles
- Current HIPAA certification with commitment to ongoing annual renewal
- Nursing background or medical professional credentials strongly preferred
- Excellent English communication skills with clear, professional speech patterns
- Proven track record of reliable attendance and professional work ethic
- Experience with medical record systems and healthcare portals
- Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare software
- Bonus if you have experience in sports medicine or rehabilitation settings
