Senior Accounting Specialist

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm
  • Client time zone: UK Time

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and oversee journal entries.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and internal controls.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

  • Serve as a backup for critical accounting functions when Carlie is unavailable.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of five years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
