Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Specialist to manage and grow our social media presence across multiple platforms. This role focuses on editing pre-recorded video content, ensuring full HIPAA and media compliance, and building a consistent, unified brand identity across all social channels. The position will start at 10 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours based on workload and performance.

Responsibilities
Content Editing & Compliance
-
Edit pre-recorded raw video content for social media, including trimming, shortening, adding captions, sound effects, and basic enhancements

Ensure all content complies with HIPAA and applicable media regulations

Blur patient faces and identifiable features
-
Remove or mute patient names and sensitive audio

Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance standards at all times
Social Media Management & Brand Consistency

Create and manage social media accounts across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, and others as needed)

Establish and maintain a single, consistent brand name and visual identity

Replace or phase out inactive or inconsistent accounts

Ensure cohesive branding, tone, and messaging across all platforms
Content Publishing & Website Support

Upload and publish approved content across social media platforms

Upload social media content to the company website once operational

Coordinate basic content organization and formatting for web use
Requirements

Proven experience in social media content creation and video editing

Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and privacy requirements (healthcare experience is a strong plus)

Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar

Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and other short-form video platforms

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict compliance guidelines

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to Have

Experience working with healthcare or medical-related brands

Basic website content uploading experience (WordPress or similar CMS)

Knowledge of current social media best practices and trends

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, selected candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection.
