Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (PST)
- 40 hrs per week
Responsibilities:
- Perform reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules
- Track job costs, budgets vs. actuals, and cost code variances
- Review SOVs and subcontractor pay applications for accuracy
- Track approved change orders and billing documentation
- Prepare AR aging reports and support follow-ups
- Assist with cash forecast inputs and reporting packages
- Support SPV and lender reporting with documentation and schedules
- Flag issues and escalate to leadership rather than making decisions
Leadership:
- Margin ownership and cost-to-complete decisions
- Cash forecasting and liquidity planning authority
- Driving collections and vendor payment strategy
- SPV compliance, ownership, and investor-facing reporting
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction or project accounting.
- Strong background in job cost accounting, reconciliations, and budget vs. actual variance analysis.
- Experience reviewing SOVs, subcontractor pay applications, and change orders.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proficiency in AR aging, cash forecasting support, and management reporting.
- Familiarity with construction ERPs (e.g., Sage, Procore, Viewpoint) and strong Excel skills.
- close attention to detail with the ability to identify and escalate issues to leadership.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
