Overview:
We are looking for a proactive, trend-savvy Social Media Manager to manage and grow the personal brand of a tech founder. This role focuses on creating viral, high-engagement content for Instagram and TikTok, building an authentic and visually compelling presence, and shaping the founder’s personal brand strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form video content (Reels/TikToks) and design graphics aligned with a high-end, founder-focused aesthetic

  • Manage content calendar and ensure consistent, high-quality posting cadence

  • Research trending sounds, formats, and topics within the startup, tech, and founder communities

  • Monitor engagement metrics and iterate on content strategy to drive growth

  • Write compelling captions that reflect the founder’s voice—professional, relatable, and engaging

  • Transform raw footage and ideas into polished, high-performing social content

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media for personal brands or high-growth founders

  • Proven portfolio of short-form video editing and graphic design (applications with portfolios prioritized)

  • Strong English writing skills for captioning and storytelling

  • Familiarity with TikTok and Instagram algorithms, trends, and best practices

  • Knowledge of tech, startup, or fashion ecosystems is a plus

  • Experience using analytics tools to track growth and engagement metrics

  • Proactive, creative, and able to take initiative without detailed direction

  • Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup

Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on performance in the application process.
