The ideal candidate has deep Shopify expertise, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of SEO best practices to ensure conversion improvements do not negatively impact existing organic search performance.
Key Responsibilities
-
Analyze Shopify website performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and CRO tools to identify conversion bottlenecks and user drop-off points.
-
Plan, execute, and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests focused on improving conversion rates from organic traffic.
-
Implement CRO changes directly within the Shopify backend, including theme adjustments, layout improvements, and UX enhancements, without handoffs to external developers.
-
Reorganize site structure, navigation, and product categorization to reduce complexity and improve usability—especially for sites with a large volume of products.
-
Optimize landing pages, collection pages, product pages, checkout flows, and calls-to-action (CTAs).
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to align CRO strategies with brand, merchandising, and business objectives.
-
Translate data findings into clear, actionable business and UX recommendations.
-
Ensure all CRO initiatives preserve and enhance SEO performance, avoiding changes that could negatively impact organic rankings or traffic.
-
Maintain documentation of test hypotheses, results, insights, and implemented changes.
-
Stay current with CRO, UX, Shopify, and SEO best practices.
