Admin & Rostering Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Admin & Rostering Assistant to provide critical administrative and rostering support to the Care Services Manager. This full-time remote role operates Monday to Friday, 1 PM to 10 PM (QLD Time), and is key to ensuring smooth scheduling, client communication, and operational continuity within the care services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Care Services Manager with general administrative tasks and system troubleshooting

  • Manage staff rostering and scheduling, ensuring shift coverage, timely communication, and compliance with award requirements

  • Coordinate urgent shift coverage and after-hours support to address unexpected absences or emergencies

  • Maintain and publish staff rosters at least two weeks in advance and confirm shift acceptance

  • Communicate roster changes effectively with clients, care teams, and internal stakeholders

  • Assist with travel and accommodation logistics for staff as needed

  • Develop strong working relationships across clients, staff, and management teams to support seamless care delivery

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in administration, rostering, or scheduling (health/disability care sector experience is a plus)

  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Proactive attitude with ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency

  • Knowledge of SCHADS Award, NDIS, or related care funding programs is advantageous

  • Ability to handle after-hours support and urgent rostering needs

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Relevant business administration or scheduling qualifications and experience

  • Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening (can be arranged during recruitment)

Work Conditions:

  • Remote work based on Queensland (QLD) time zone, Monday to Friday, 1 PM to 10 PM

  • 40 hours per week
