Embark on an exciting career as an Insurance Sales Appointment Setter with our innovative brokerage. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of our business development efforts, connecting with decision-makers and uncovering opportunities to optimize their insurance coverage. Utilizing our proprietary lead information and your persuasive communication skills, you’ll engage potential clients, highlight cost-saving opportunities, and pave the way for our expert brokers to close deals. - Telemarket Personal and Commercial Lines Insurance – through active leads, referrals and cross sell
- Personal Lines – auto, home, umbrella, specialty such as boats, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, mobile homes, et. al.
- Commercial Lines – business owners policy, general liability, property, business auto, workers comp, umbrella/excess, professional liability, et. al.
- Customer and Agency Support Services - clerical such as data entry, COI, audit and other related task as may be assigned
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to businesses, leveraging provided lead information to engage decision-makers effectively
- Articulate the value proposition of our insurance offerings, focusing on potential cost savings and improved coverage
- Qualify prospects by assessing their current insurance situation and identifying areas for improvement
- Schedule appointments for our seasoned insurance brokers, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads
- Compose and send professional follow-up emails requesting crucial documentation such as declaration pages and loss run letters
- Maintain meticulous records of all interactions in our state-of-the-art CRM system
- Achieve and exceed daily targets of 10 qualified appointments set
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and improve conversion rates
- Adapt your approach based on industry trends and individual client needs
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance your insurance knowledge and sales techniques
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English that resonates with a diverse clientele
- Proven track record in cold calling, appointment setting, or related sales roles (insurance industry experience is a plus)
- Resilient and positive attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to quickly build rapport over the phone
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic computer skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently from home
- Ability to understand and articulate complex insurance concepts in simple, compelling terms
