Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm UK with an hour unpaid break

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Investment Banking Analyst to support underwriting, financial modeling, and the preparation of investor-ready materials. This role sits within a lean, entrepreneurial team and requires the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality analysis and presentations related to real estate investments and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed underwriting and financial models for real estate and business investments

• Prepare Sources & Uses, unlevered and levered cash flow models, debt schedules, waterfalls, and return analyses

• Perform valuation analyses including Yield Capitalization and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)

• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess risk and return scenarios

• Develop clear, concise, and visually polished PowerPoint presentations for investors and stakeholders

• Support transaction execution, deal evaluation, and internal investment discussions

• Collaborate closely with senior team members on live deals and strategic initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in real estate investment banking, private equity, principal investing, or debt advisory

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce concise, investor-ready materials

• High integrity and strong self-motivation; comfortable operating independently in a lean, entrepreneurial environment

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Excel: Ability to build full financial models including Sources & Uses, unlevered cash flows (business and/or real estate), debt schedules and debt cash flows, waterfalls, levered returns, valuation calculations (Yield Capitalization & DCF), and sensitivity analysis

• PowerPoint: Strong understanding of formatting discipline, visual consistency, alignment, color usage, and storytelling through slides
