A Sydney-based commercial cleaning and cleaning products business operating across B2B and trade markets. We service cleaning companies, facilities, offices, and commercial operators, and are expanding our brand presence and industry relationships across social platforms.
This is a hands-on Brand & Community role focused on real engagement, conversations, and relationship-building — not just content posting.
Role Overview
The Brand & Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for growing brand awareness, trust, and inbound enquiries through active community engagement on Facebook and LinkedIn. The role requires daily interaction, outreach, and value-driven conversations with industry peers, business owners, and decision-makers. Primary platforms are Facebook and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
Facebook – Community & Brand Growth

Actively manage and grow the company’s Facebook presence

Engage daily in relevant Facebook groups (cleaning businesses, trade services, facilities, commercial property, SMEs, and local communities)

Comment, interact, and contribute in a non-spammy, value-driven way
-
Create and manage the company’s Facebook Page and/or Community Group
-
Drive conversations, respond to questions, and position the brand as a trusted operator and supplier
-
Manage the Facebook Shop (integrated via WooCommerce)

Use Facebook Marketplace strategically to generate product awareness, enquiries, and early traction
-
Initiate direct messages where appropriate to introduce the brand, offer product information, and coordinate sample requests
Product Seeding & Industry Relationships

Identify cleaning businesses and operators suitable for product trials
-
Conduct direct outreach via Facebook and LinkedIn DMs
-
Coordinate product sample distribution
-
Build long-term industry relationships that encourage:

Organic mentions

Reviews
-
User-generated content
-
Peer recommendations

LinkedIn – B2B Outreach & Engagement

Manage LinkedIn engagement for both services and product distribution

Connect and interact with key decision-makers, including:

Purchasing Managers & Procurement Officers

Operations Managers
-
Office Managers (SMEs)
-
Facility Managers
-
COOs and senior leaders
-

Send personalised connection requests and follow-up messages
-
Engage with posts through comments and reactions to maintain visibility and credibility

Support lead generation for commercial cleaning contracts and product distribution opportunities
Requirements
-
Proven experience in Facebook and LinkedIn community management (B2B experience preferred)

Comfortable with direct messaging, outreach, and relationship-building

Strong understanding of how to engage authentically without spamming

Excellent written communication skills

Familiarity with Facebook Groups, Marketplace, Facebook Shops, and LinkedIn outreach workflows

Highly organised, consistent, and proactive
