Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Social Media Manager to support a successful content creator and actress as she elevates her career in film and television. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the fast-paced world of entertainment and social media, with a sharp eye for trends and exceptional multitasking skills. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the client’s strong online presence while she focuses on her on-screen career. Your day-to-day responsibilities will blend creative content management, brand collaboration oversight, and administrative support, giving you an insider’s view of the entertainment industry and a chance to contribute to the growth of an influential online personality.

 

Responsibilities

  • Craft and curate engaging content across multiple social media platforms to maintain a consistent and impactful online presence
  • Manage daily interactions on social media accounts, fostering community engagement and growth
  • Initiate and cultivate relationships with brands for potential collaborations and sponsorships
  • Handle email communications, prioritizing and responding to key messages
  • Complete tasks such as funding applications, coordinating with production teams, preparing for film festivals, setting meetings, and conducting cold outreach
  • Coordinate with agents, brand representatives, and industry professionals to secure and manage business opportunities
  • Assist in scheduling auditions, managing travel arrangements, and supporting the client’s acting career needs
  • Create and edit video content using tools like CapCut, and design graphics with platforms such as Canva
  • Provide general administrative support, including calendar management and document preparation
  • Stay informed on industry trends and propose innovative ideas to strengthen the client’s online presence and brand partnerships

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably within entertainment, content creation, or influencer marketing (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
  • Experience in comedic performance, writing, or content creation is a plus
  • Strong understanding of multiple social media platforms, algorithms, and engagement best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and content creation software
  • Basic understanding of the entertainment industry, including film, television, and digital content
  • Experience coordinating with brands and managing collaborative projects
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., CapCut) and design tools (e.g., Canva) is highly desirable
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and occasional time-sensitive tasks
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • A passion for digital media, pop culture, and the entertainment industry
