Social Media and Administrative Assistant

Schedule: Full-time (35-40 hours per week) Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm CST with 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description: You’ll become the operational backbone of this growing safety solutions company, handling critical administrative functions while contributing to their digital marketing efforts. This role offers the perfect blend of traditional administrative excellence and modern social media management, making it ideal for someone who thrives on variety and wants to make a meaningful impact on business operations. You’ll work directly with leadership, managing essential coordination tasks while helping shape the company’s online presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate communications and tasks with payroll liaison to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage communications and coordination with accounting liaison for financial processes
  • Handle general email follow-up and correspondence with professionalism and efficiency
  • Execute light administrative tasks on the back end to support daily operations
  • Create and schedule social media content on a regular basis to maintain online presence
  • Develop engaging content that outperforms competitors’ generic offerings
  • Perform live editing of social media posts for optimal engagement
  • Support operational functions with minimal supervision and maximum independence

Requirements:

  • Excellent English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel spreadsheets
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace applications for seamless collaboration
  • Proven ability to work independently without constant guidance or reassurance
  • Social media content creation and management experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Decent education level and professional background
  • Bonus if you have experience with grammar tools like Grammarly
  • It helps if you have a reliable internet connection and professional work setup
