Work Schedule:

• (Flexible), Monday to Friday between, 8:00 am and 6:00 am NSW time zone, 35 to 40 hours per week
• Must have some overlap with Australian business hours

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Assistant to support a design team with high-quality interior design drawings. The ideal candidate is confident using SketchUp and Layout (no other software required), works efficiently, and demonstrates initiative and quick thinking. Training will be provided, but prior hands-on experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and update interior design drawings using SketchUp and Layout
• Assist with cabinetry drawings and documentation.
• Support the designer with design development and revision
• Work efficiently and accurately within the deadline.
• Take initiative and proactively support the design workflow

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in SketchUp and Layout (mandatory)
• Background in interior design drafting or documentation
• Ability to work quickly, think independently, and show initiative
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely

Nice to Have:

• Cabinetry experience, particularly familiarity with Australian cabinetry standards (Preferred)
• Previous experience working with Australian interior design projects or firms
