Digital Marketer & Content Creator (Google Ads)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Digital Marketer & Content Creator who can support organic video content creation, assist with Google Ads execution during a transition phase, and help strengthen first-touch outreach and sales support processes. This role is execution-focused and ideal for someone who can follow direction, maintain consistency, and optimize workflows while supporting broader marketing initiatives. The assistant will work closely with the client to ensure marketing efforts are well-organized, professionally executed, and aligned with local growth objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Content & Organic Social Media (Facebook & TikTok)

  • Edit, format, and repurpose raw video footage provided by the client (shop footage, vehicles, behind-the-scenes, etc.)

  • Produce short-form video content, including:

    • “Fly‑on‑the‑wall” storytelling videos

    • Basic avatar-style videos (as directed)

  • Optimize videos for organic reach on Facebook and TikTok

  • Write simple captions, hashtags, and descriptions aligned with local branding

  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule

2. First‑Touch” Outreach & Sales Support

  • Support outside sales efforts through marketing-driven first-touch activities that prepare, organize, and warm up prospects prior to direct sales engagement.

    Assist with:

    • Building and maintaining targeted lead lists to support outside sales routes and local outreach

    • Conducting local market and prospect research to support field sales efforts

    • Preparing first-touch outreach materials (scripts, messaging templates, and talking points) for sales use

    • Managing CRM data entry, segmentation, and lead status updates based on outreach activity

    • Organizing follow-ups and next-step reminders to support sales continuity

    • Supporting light appointment coordination and follow-ups (non-closing)

    • Ensuring leads are accurately tracked, routed, and documented for sales visibility 

3. Google Ads Support (Observation & Trend Analysis Only)

  • Review existing Google Ads campaigns for performance trends and patterns

  • Monitor high-level metrics such as:

    • Lead volume

    • Cost trends

    • Conversion activity (calls, directions, appointment actions)

  • Identify notable changes or insights for discussion with the client

  • Compile and organize performance summaries for regular review

  • No campaign setup, optimization, or account changes required at this stage

  • Support a potential future transition into execution if needed

4. CRM & Process Optimization

  • Maintain and update CRM records accurately

  • Assist with managing multiple territories and changing routes

  • Periodically review CRM workflows and suggest efficiency improvements

  • Ensure data quality for non-fleet customer records

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting digital or social media marketing

  • Strong video editing skills for short-form content

  • Familiarity with Facebook and TikTok content best practices

  • Working knowledge of Google Ads (search campaigns preferred)

  • Experience using CRMs for lead management and data entry

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Ability to follow instructions and execute with consistency

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience supporting local or service-based businesses

  • Basic copywriting or scriptwriting skills

  • Familiarity with appointment setting or sales support

  • Experience working with Canadian or US-based markets
