A growing digital agency specializing in website development and SEO services for clients across multiple industries. You’ll play a key role in implementing SEO strategies across client WordPress websites, ensuring all updates are executed accurately without compromising design or functionality. This role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of WordPress environments and the opportunity to directly contribute to measurable client success.
You’ll work closely with an experienced in-house team, participating in collaborative problem-solving and structured training while enjoying the flexibility of a remote role aligned with New Zealand business hours.
Responsibilities
- Implement SEO recommendations on existing client WordPress websites across various industries
- Navigate and edit sites using different WordPress builders, including Elementor and WP Bakery
- Duplicate and customize existing pages based on detailed SEO specifications
- Execute copy edits and add internal and external links as directed
- Create and manage full website backups before and after implementation
- Participate in video calls with screen sharing for training and collaboration
- Work across multiple WordPress themes and site structures with varying complexity
- Ensure all changes maintain website functionality and preserve design integrity
- Follow established workflows and safeguards to prevent website issues
Requirements
- Extensive experience with WordPress and page builders (Elementor, WP Bakery, etc.)
- Strong understanding of WordPress themes and customization options
- Experience with website backup and restoration processes
- Comfortable with video conferencing and screen sharing
- Ability to work New Zealand business hours (9 AM–5 PM NZT)
- High attention to detail and ability to follow precise implementation instructions
- Solid understanding of website structure, navigation, and usability principles
