Responsibilities
-
Process and categorize financial transactions for real estate investment clients
-
Tag transactions to specific properties or business entities within client portfolios

Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements

Work with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and custom Excel templates designed for real estate investors

Maintain accurate books for multiple real estate clients simultaneously
-
Participate in team meetings twice weekly to review progress and priorities
-
Complete catch-up bookkeeping for clients with backlogged records (including full-year catch-ups)

Ensure all financial records are current and properly organized for tax preparation
Requirements

3–5 years of bookkeeping experience

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Willingness to submit end-of-day (EOD) reports daily

Experience with real estate or investment property accounting preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Reliable internet connection and professional communication skills

Flexibility to work across different time zones
Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
