Position Summary:
The Bilingual Collections Specialist plays a key role in managing client accounts and ensuring timely payment for immigration consulting and legal services. This position involves proactive communication with clients, payment follow-up, and coordination with case managers to maintain accurate and compliant financial records.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and record client payments for immigration consulting and legal services

Update and maintain accurate financial records in the immigration case management system.

Verify that client fees are received before case filing or submission to immigration authorities.

Communicate with clients in English and Spanish to confirm payment status, explain outstanding balances, and issue receipts or payment reminders.

Collaborate with case managers and attorneys to ensure each client’s payment status aligns with their case progress.

Assist in preparing invoices, fee agreements, and financial summaries for immigration cases.

Support the finance department in reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive client immigration and financial information responsibly.
Qualifications:

Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

Previous experience in collections, immigration services, legal administration, or payment processing preferred.

Strong communication and negotiation skills with a client-centered approach.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
