This is an exciting opportunity to become a key partner to the door-to-door sales team of a growing service business. As a Sales Support Agent, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the sales team operates smoothly by managing territories, processing alerts, and coordinating customer details. You’ll work with tools such as FieldRoutes to handle new customer setups, maintain accurate records, and provide real-time support to sales representatives in the field. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to flex between operational support and customer-facing responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the door-to-door sales team through text-based communication, ensuring clear coordination and territory alignment
  • Open and manage new areas for sales representatives, keeping teams organized and aligned
  • Process inbound alerts through FieldRoutes related to new customers and verify setup accuracy using a checklist
  • Ensure all customer accounts are properly configured before the sales team proceeds
  • Make outbound calls to customers for clarification on scheduling, contracts, or account details
  • Assist with scheduling coordination and service-related questions when required
  • Maintain accurate records to prevent operational errors
  • Flex between sales support and customer service functions depending on seasonal demand
  • Provide administrative support during lower-activity periods

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support or phone-based customer service roles
  • Excellent communication skills with clear and professional delivery
  • Ability to understand and manage complex situations with precision
  • Strong organizational skills for managing territories, alerts, and scheduling
  • Professional demeanor when handling customer concerns and coordinating with teams
  • Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week within required business hours and time zones
  • Familiarity with customer service or sales support software (FieldRoutes experience is a plus)
  • Flexibility to transition between sales support and customer service responsibilities as business needs evolve
