Junior Content Creation & Video Editor

Role Overview: The client is seeking a high-energy, "visual-first" Junior Content Creator & Video Editor to serve as the creative engine of our agency. For the first 90 days, your primary mission is to eliminate our content backlog and establish a high-standard production rhythm. You aren't just an editor; you are a digital storyteller who understands how to stop the scroll and drive engagement for local businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Impact Video Editing: Script, cut, and polish 5–10 Reels/TikToks per week. Proficient in dynamic captions, transitions, and hooks using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Canva Design Mastery: Utilize Canva to create "scroll-stopping" thumbnails, educational carousels, and static posts.
  • Brand Fidelity: Collaborate with Content Manager to ensure assets align perfectly with brand kits and specific client voices.
  • Operational Autonomy: Independently manage daily workflows via ClickUp, ensuring high output with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expert: Advanced proficiency in CapCut, Canva, and Final Cut Pro. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) is a significant plus. 
  • The "2-Hour" Standard: Proven ability to turn around a high-quality first draft of a 60-second Reel in under 2 hours.
  • Relevant Portfolio: A strong body of work demonstrating success with US-based service industries (e.g., Real Estate, MedSpas, or Home Services) APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED
  • Proactive Communicator: A self-starter who asks clarifying questions and provides daily end-of-shift updates.
