Responsibilities
Settlement Processing
  • Process settlement transactions accurately and within required timeframes
  • Verify documentation and payment instructions for completeness and compliance
  • Conduct daily follow-ups to resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate efficiently with internal teams, partners, and customers
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Identify and mitigate potential settlement risks
  • Ensure all documentation and audit trails meet compliance and funder standards
Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for settlement-related queries
  • Resolve documentation errors and payment discrepancies promptly
  • Provide clear and timely updates to internal and external stakeholders
Process & Systems Improvement
  • Contribute to refining settlement procedures and operational tools
  • Support initiatives that improve accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience
Required Skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured, deadline-driven environment

  • Experience in settlements, financial operations, banking, commercial lending, or loan processing

Schedule: Flexible during client business hours (Australian time) (40 Hours per week)

Side Note:
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
Professional hourly fees are established based on performance during the application process.
