Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Funding Sales Representative who will act as a strategic consultant for prospective clients seeking funding. In this role, you will conduct discovery calls, evaluate financial readiness, and guide clients through the funding evaluation process. This position focuses on consultative sales and client qualification rather than aggressive selling, ensuring that clients are aligned with the most appropriate funding strategies.

Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 09:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Funding Strategy & Qualification Specialist for prospective clients.
- Conduct structured discovery calls to understand client needs and timelines.
- Evaluate business or personal financial profiles to determine funding readiness.
- Present funding models and explain advisory processes without overselling.
- Handle objections professionally and guide clients toward appropriate solutions.
- Collect retainers or agreements and manage next steps.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions and timelines.
- Collaborate with advisors and internal teams for smooth handoffs.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent client experience.
- Educate clients on strategic positioning for funding.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, consulting, or client advisory roles (financial services preferred).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and ask strategic questions.
- Skilled in objection handling and consultative conversations.
- Comfortable following structured processes and SOPs.
- Ability to maintain professional authority without high-pressure sales tactics.
- Experience using CRM systems for client tracking and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand financial profiles and funding strategies.

Commission Structure
- Base salary provided (to be discussed during the interview).
- $500 front-end cash collected per deal.
- Commission range: 15% – 30% based on tiered close rates.
- Monthly evaluation, with payouts within 7 business days after the period closes.
