Job Title: Junior Marketing Assistant

Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and growth efforts. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who enjoys working with data, research, and foundational SEO tasks, and who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:

• 9am to 6pm PST with one hour of unpaid break

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and update internal marketing databases and CRM records
• Collect, organize, and validate marketing and lead-related data from multiple sources
• Conduct basic SEO audits (on-page elements, metadata, site structure, keyword usage, etc.)
• Assist with competitor and market research
• Support the marketing team with reporting, tracking, and documentation
• Ensure data accuracy and follow internal “no-duplicate” and data integrity standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in marketing, data management, or a related role
• Basic understanding of SEO principles (on-page SEO, keywords, site health fundamentals)
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets and databases
• Ability to follow processes and document work clearly
• Good written communication skills
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
• Experience working with CRMs (HubSpot is a plus)
• Basic understanding of digital marketing funnels
• Background in research, data analysis, or online sourcing

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
