Travel Product & Data Coordinator

Job Overview 
The Travel Product & Data Coordinator plays a key role in the growth and expansion of the client's leisure division. This position is responsible for sourcing, researching and building a broad range of travel products for sale through our website, including accommodation, holiday packages, guided tours, cruises, rail journeys
and major event accommodation.

Working primarily from supplier websites, the successful candidate will extract, interpret and translate travel product information into accurate, engaging and commercially viable listings tailored to our leisure client base. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying new revenue opportunities.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm with 1 hour unpaid break | Australian Eastern Time

Key Responsibilities:
Travel Product Sourcing & Research
Research and identify leisure travel products from supplier and partner websites
Source and evaluate:
- Accommodation (hotels, resorts, apartments and serviced residences)
- Domestic and international holiday packages
- Guided holiday tours
- Cruise itineraries and cabin categories
- Rail journeys and experiential travel products

  • Monitor supplier websites for seasonal offers, promotional campaigns and pricing updates
  • Compare products across suppliers to ensure competitive positioning
  • Assess product suitability based on target market, demand trends and commercial viability

Major Events Accommodation Development

  • Proactively identify major domestic and international events presenting accommodation sales opportunities (e.g. sporting events, concerts, festivals and large-scale public events)
  • Research and confirm event details including dates, locations, venues and peak demand periods
  • Analyse accommodation supply in event destinations to identify suitable properties
  • Build event-specific accommodation offerings aligned with demand periods and minimum stay requirements
  • Monitor pricing trends during event periods and update listings to remain competitive

Product Build & Website Management

Accurately build and upload travel products onto The Accommodation Brokers website
Extract and input detailed product information including:
- Room categories and inclusions
- Package components and itineraries
- Cruise sailing dates and fare conditions
- Rail journey details
- Pricing structures and promotional terms
- Cancellation policies and booking conditions

  • Write clear, engaging and consumer-focused product descriptions
  • Manage blackout dates, seasonal pricing and promotional validity periods
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy, consistency and data integrity

Data Integrity & Commercial Support

  • Maintain accurate product and supplier data within internal systems
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between supplier websites and internal listings
  • Monitor rate validity and remove expired offers
  • Assist in reporting on product performance and sales trends
  • Support marketing initiatives with accurate and compelling product content
  • Contribute ideas to improve product positioning and drive revenue growth

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, cruise or holiday package sectors
  • Strong ability to interpret supplier information and translate it into consumer-friendly listings
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Experience using CMS platforms, booking engines or CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of leisure travel purchasing behaviour
