Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Sales Development Representative to support book distribution efforts to educational institutions worldwide. This role combines research, lead generation, and email outreach to connect with schools serving students aged 12-17. The ideal candidate will conduct systematic research, manage email campaigns using provided templates, and schedule appointments for sales discussions.

Client Overview

Our client is an author and entrepreneur launching an educational initiative focused on youth conflict prevention. The organization aims to distribute educational materials to schools globally, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and international markets.

Schedule Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 4 pm EST (20 work hours per week) 

Salary: Approx. PHP 286/Hour

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify schools serving students aged 12-17 across the United States, the United Kingdom, and other global markets on a state-by-state and regional basis.
  • Send email outreach campaigns using pre-written templates and the company email address to school administrators and decision-makers.
  • Track and document all outreach activities, including the number of emails sent, responses received, and engagement metrics.
  • Follow up with interested schools via phone calls to answer questions and gauge interest levels.
  • Schedule appointments in the client's calendar for qualified leads and sales discussions.
  • Maintain organized records of all communications and update lead status in tracking systems.
  • Provide regular reports on outreach activities and response rates to ensure transparency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in lead generation and email marketing campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and punctuation.
  • Experience with research tools and ability to systematically identify and compile contact information.
  • Comfortable making outbound phone calls for follow-up and appointment setting.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with the supervisor.
  • Proficiency with email marketing tools, CRM systems, and calendar management applications.

Nice to have requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to support outreach to diverse school communities.
  • Background or familiarity with educational institutions and school administration structures.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance research efficiency and data compilation.
  • Previous experience in book distribution, publishing, or educational product sales.

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
