This established French construction equipment company serves major construction projects across France and French-speaking territories. With 85 employees and partnerships with European manufacturers, they supply everything from scaffolding to road signs for France’s biggest construction groups. They’re expanding their market reach and need someone to spearhead their business development efforts.

Job Description
You’ll be the voice of a growing construction equipment company, building relationships with major players in France’s construction industry. This role puts you at the center of business growth, where your outreach directly translates to new partnerships and revenue. You’ll work with established databases and proven processes while having the autonomy to represent the company professionally across all interactions.

Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with one hour of unpaid break
Client Timezone: Central European Time (Paris)

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential construction industry clients using specialized industry databases
  • Conduct strategic outbound phone calls to major French construction groups and regional players
  • Introduce company services and capabilities to key decision-makers
  • Identify and gather contact information for purchasing managers and project managers
  • Maintain accurate prospect data and interaction history in company CRM system
  • Send targeted digital product catalogs to qualified prospects following initial conversations
  • Serve as company ambassador, building brand awareness in the French construction market
  • Meet performance targets with opportunities for bonus compensation

Requirements

  • French fluency (essential for construction industry communication)
  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation and cold calling
  • Strong phone presence and ability to engage construction industry professionals
  • Experience with CRM systems and accurate data management
  • Self-motivated approach with ability to work independently
  • Professional communication skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Bonus if you have familiarity with the French construction industry or major players like Eiffage and Colas
