Job Description
You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the financial backbone of multiple restaurant businesses, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting that directly impacts business success. Responsibilities
- Process invoices efficiently for multiple restaurant clients
- Perform accurate bank and account reconciliations
- Reconcile supplier statements and maintain vendor relationships
- Prepare monthly and quarterly profit & loss statements
- Generate balance sheets and comprehensive financial reports
- Support general bookkeeping activities across restaurant portfolio
- Ensure all financial work meets Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with the internal team to maintain seamless financial operations
Requirements
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience (mid-level)
- Australian bookkeeping or accounting experience required
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
- Understanding of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements
- Bonus if you have restaurant or hospitality industry experience
- It helps if you’re comfortable working with multiple clients simultaneously
