Job Description

You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the financial backbone of multiple restaurant businesses, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting that directly impacts business success. Responsibilities

• Process invoices efficiently for multiple restaurant clients
• Perform accurate bank and account reconciliations
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain vendor relationships
• Prepare monthly and quarterly profit & loss statements
• Generate balance sheets and comprehensive financial reports
• Support general bookkeeping activities across restaurant portfolio
• Ensure all financial work meets Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with the internal team to maintain seamless financial operations

Requirements

• 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience (mid-level)
• Australian bookkeeping or accounting experience required
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
• Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
• Understanding of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Bonus if you have restaurant or hospitality industry experience
• It helps if you’re comfortable working with multiple clients simultaneously

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
