Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM MST (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Video Production: Edit high-quality video content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Sports Content: Create engaging basketball-related content, including game highlights, player profiles, and athletic program showcases.
• Academic Highlights: Produce videos showcasing student achievements, graduation ceremonies, and academic excellence.
• Strategy Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with the existing social media team on content strategy and creative direction.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent brand standards, color grading, and visual quality across all video content to align with the school's prestige.
• Workflow Integration: Adapt quickly to the team’s workflow, using cloud-based project management and file-sharing tools to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects knowledge is a significant plus).
• Strong knowledge of basketball: You must understand the rules, terminology, and gameplay to edit highlights that resonate with fans and scouts.
• Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with platform-specific specifications, aspect ratios, and best practices (hook timing, captions, etc.).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining excellent communication for team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with educational content or youth-focused media (Preferred).
• Experience editing fast-paced sports highlights or "mixtapes" (Highly Regarded).

Side Note

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own high-performance computer capable of handling 4K video editing, a reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
