Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Video Editor to create short-form videos for their medal inventory. This role focuses on editing raw footage into clean, engaging clips for social media platforms. No advanced motion graphics are required—just a strong eye for pacing, clarity, and visual appeal. You will play a key role in showcasing products through high-quality visual storytelling that resonates with audiences on TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm CST (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Video Production: Edit raw footage into short-form videos specifically formatted for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Editing & Assembly: Trim, cut, and arrange clips to ensure a smooth flow and engaging pacing.
• Enhancements: Add basic text overlays, captions, and transitions to improve viewer retention and clarity.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent visual style and high-quality output across all video assets.
• Media Management: Organize and label media files efficiently to streamline the production workflow.
• Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to ensure all video content aligns with specific campaign goals.
• Deadline Management: Meet consistent deadlines to ensure a steady stream of content output.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing short-form videos for social media (Portfolio required).
• Proficiency in basic video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or iMovie).
• Good sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clips simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and consistency in visual branding.
• Familiarity with current social media video formats, trends, and platform requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with product-based video editing or e-commerce content (Preferred).
• Ability to produce clean, polished videos quickly and efficiently.
• Highly organized, reliable, and responsive in a remote team environment.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
