Job Description: You’ll serve as the trusted right-hand to a busy dermatologist, handling everything from patient coordination to high-level administrative tasks that directly impact practice operations. Responsibilities:
- Answer patient calls and manage communications with professionalism and healthcare knowledge
- Process prior authorizations and coordinate patient care logistics
- Schedule medical appointments, physician travel, and coordinate interview processes
- Manage vendor relationships, research purchasing options, and handle account access
- Resolve patient complaints and follow-up communications requiring healthcare expertise
- Support email management and administrative tasks across clinical and academic work
- Coordinate with existing team members and assist with operational workflow
- Handle confidential information and trusted access to vendor systems
- Support university and research-related administrative needs
Requirements:
- Healthcare industry experience, preferably in medical office or clinical settings
- Excellent English communication skills with near-native proficiency for patient interactions
- Professional demeanor and experience handling sensitive patient communications
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare administrative processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Bonus if you’re bilingual in Spanish and English
- It helps if you’re located in South America for optimal timezone alignment
- You bring discretion and reliability for handling confidential vendor account access
