Job Description:

You’ll be the creative force behind a growing personal brand while playing a key role in business development. This unique position combines social media expertise with strategic outreach, allowing you to shape both the digital presence and business growth of an established public speaker. You’ll work directly with the CEO, managing everything from content creation to conference booking, making a real impact on their expanding influence in the business world.

Client Overview:

Join a dynamic business led by an accomplished CEO and public speaker who is expanding their digital presence and speaking opportunities. This role offers the perfect blend of creative social media work and strategic business development support, working directly with a business leader to amplify their brand and secure high-profile speaking engagements.

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (Eastern Time-Canada, 20 hours per week)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage engaging social media content across multiple platforms
  • Edit videos for social media posts and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
  • Design graphics and visual content for social media campaigns and speaking materials
  • Conduct weekly research to identify 5 business conferences where the client can serve as host or moderator
  • Reach out to conference organizers and event coordinators on behalf of the client
  • Prepare detailed reports on outreach activities, responses, and follow-up actions
  • Maintain organized communication records and keep the client CC’d on all correspondence
  • Develop and maintain a consistent social media posting schedule and engagement strategy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms)
  • Strong graphic design skills with experience in Canva or comparable design tools
  • Excellent research and communication skills for professional business outreach
  • Experience writing professional emails and business correspondence
  • Strong organizational skills for tracking multiple projects and reporting activities
  • Bonus if you have experience with conference or event industry outreach
  • It helps if you’re familiar with the public speaking or professional services industry
