Job Overview

You’ll be the driving force behind business development, connecting with an established client base to generate consultation opportunities and fuel company growth. This role puts you at the center of a strategic “reverse tactic” approach where instead of chasing new prospects, you’ll activate existing relationships to bring qualified opportunities directly to leadership. You’ll have the satisfaction of seeing immediate, measurable results from your efforts while playing a crucial role in scaling a successful logistics operation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to existing clients in a 3,000+ client database to generate consultation appointments
  • Manage and update CRM system with detailed customer interaction notes and follow-up requirements
  • Meet daily call volume targets of minimum 50 calls per day
  • Schedule consultation appointments for business owner meetings with qualified prospects
  • Sell and promote logistics services during customer interactions to drive business growth
  • Handle rejection professionally while maintaining persistent, results-driven outreach efforts
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions and appointment scheduling activities
  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize outreach strategies and improve conversion rates

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills with clear, professional speaking ability suitable for American business clients
  • Previous sales experience, particularly in outbound calling or appointment setting roles
  • Experience working with CRM systems and customer databases
  • Resilience to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a cold calling environment
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet daily performance targets
  • Bonus if you have background in logistics, supply chain, dispatching, or trucking industry
  • It helps if you understand trucking industry metrics and operations in the US market
