A fast-growing premium beauty and hair health brand based in London, focused on science-backed scalp care and hair loss solutions. The brand operates primarily through its Shopify website and Amazon UK, combining clinical credibility with premium aesthetics. As the business grows, the founder is looking for someone who can contribute to both content creation and the broader digital marketing and e-commerce operations that drive brand growth.

Job Description

You will support the growth of a premium beauty e-commerce brand through a combination of content creation, SEO optimization, Shopify store management, and performance reporting.

This is not just a social media execution role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on e-commerce marketing experience and be comfortable contributing ideas that help improve website performance, customer acquisition, and overall brand growth.

Your time will typically be split approximately 50% content creation and social media, 30% SEO and Shopify store optimization, and 20% reporting and administrative tasks.

You will work directly with the founder to execute marketing initiatives while maintaining the brand’s premium positioning and scientific credibility.

    • Monday to Friday with flexible overlap with UK business hours; 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media

  • Edit short-form video content using CapCut from raw footage provided by the founder
  • Design static posts, carousels, and stories using Canva
  • Research trending topics, audio, and competitor content for campaign ideas
  • Plan content using Notion social media templates
  • Schedule and publish approved content across Instagram and TikTok
  • Maintain consistent premium brand aesthetics and messaging across all social platforms

SEO & Blog Content

  • Write and optimize blog articles using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT from provided topic briefs
  • Conduct keyword research for blog and product page optimization
  • Improve SEO structure, internal linking, and product page content
  • Optimize product descriptions, titles, and meta descriptions for search visibility

Shopify CRO & Store Management

  • Audit Shopify pages and recommend conversion rate optimisation (CRO) improvements
  • Implement approved updates directly within Shopify
  • Update landing pages, product pages, and collections as needed
  • Monitor site performance and flag technical or UX issues
  • Support ongoing improvements to site structure and user experience

Reporting & Operational Support

  • Pull monthly performance data from Shopify, Amazon, and Klaviyo
  • Compile performance insights into a single monthly marketing report
  • Send Amazon review requests using established SOPs
  • Support small operational tasks that help maintain efficient business operations

Optional Growth Responsibilities (Bonus Skills)

  • Over time, the role may expand to include email marketing responsibilities if the candidate has relevant experience.
  • Potential tasks may include:
  • Supporting Klaviyo campaign planning and segmentation strategy
  • Designing and building email campaigns and automation flow
  • Monitoring email performance and improving list health
  • Collaborating with the founder on email marketing strategy

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of digital marketing or e-commerce experience
  • Strong content creation and short-form video editing skills using CapCut
  • Proficiency with Canva for graphic design and visual content
  • Hands-on experience working with Shopify e-commerce platforms
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for content drafting
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within a part-time schedule
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of premium brand aesthetics

Preferred Skills (Highly Regarded)

  • Experience with Klaviyo email marketing platform
  • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or SEO tools
  • Experience working with DTC (direct-to-consumer) e-commerce brands
  • Background in beauty, wellness, or health-related industries
