Job Description:
You’ll be the organizational backbone for a busy food business owner who needs someone to take ownership of the administrative details so they can focus on growth and sales. Join a dynamic food company operating across manufacturing, retail storefronts, educational classes, and special events. This growing business serves customers through multiple exciting channels, including catering for weddings and corporate events, direct retail sales, and hands-on culinary education. You’ll support an entrepreneur who’s ready to scale by bringing structure and organization to daily operations.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (Eastern Time, 20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily calendar scheduling and task prioritization across multiple business verticals
- Create and edit documents using provided templates, including contracts and agreements
- Coordinate logistics and arrangements for manufacturing, retail, catering, and educational operations
- Handle email correspondence and provide professional communication support
- Conduct online research and provide summarized findings via email
- Attend meetings and provide administrative support to senior management
- Monitor project progress across different business areas and provide regular updates
- Manage schedule reminders and appointment coordination
- Support cross-functional operations spanning food manufacturing, retail, and events
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Sheets)
- Strong document creation and editing capabilities
- Excellent calendar management and scheduling skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to work independently
- Professional email communication skills
- Experience with administrative coordination and task management
- Bonus if you have experience in the food industry, retail operations, or event coordination
- It helps if you’re comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
