You will own the estimating process for high-value projects, directly impacting the company’s ability to win new contracts and grow its market presence. Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week, flexible during business hours, Australian Eastern Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial HVAC mechanical packages up to $1M value
• Use Dindo estimating software to prepare accurate and competitive project estimates
• Reach out to suppliers to obtain current pricing and material information
• Review project specifications and technical drawings to develop comprehensive estimates
• Support the tendering process for commercial HVAC projects
• Collaborate with the team to ensure estimates align with project requirements and company standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimating activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC/mechanical estimating
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems and mechanical packages
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations
• Excellent communication skills for supplier interactions and team collaboration
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with Dindo estimating software preferred, or willingness to learn quickly
• Experience with CAD software or technical drafting is a plus

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
