Job Overview
This is an ongoing part-time role requiring up to 20 hours per week, though the actual workload typically fluctuates between 3 and 15 hours depending on current project volume. Your primary focus will be managing incoming invoices and ensuring precise project-based bookkeeping within Xero. Working closely with the operations team, you will ensure every expense is accurately tracked and coded, providing the financial clarity needed to maintain profitability across diverse entertainment projects.

Responsibilities
- Upload and process incoming invoices into the Xero accounting system on a regular basis.
- Code purchases and expenses accurately against specific client projects to ensure proper cost tracking and invoicing.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all incoming invoices to provide clear visibility of financial obligations.
- Collaborate with the pricing and purchasing team to ensure all client-related purchases are properly documented and allocated.
- Support project-based accounting workflows to track profitability and ensure complete client billing coverage.
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Advanced working knowledge of Xero accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately code transactions against multiple distinct projects.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Experience working with project-based accounting or job costing systems.
- Background in events, entertainment, or service-based industries with variable project workflows.
