Job Overview
This is a part-time role requiring 20 hours per week with a minimum three-month commitment. The position focuses on revamping and maintaining the company website, which has not been updated for two years. The successful candidate will primarily handle back-end website tasks independently, while front-end changes and graphic updates will require client approval.

Client Overview
The client is a real estate company operating in the Indiana area, specializing in residential real estate services. They previously maintained a strong online presence through SEO-driven lead generation and are now looking to restore and improve their website performance.

Schedule
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time)
20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive website maintenance, including back-end updates and technical improvements
  • Build and design an SEO-friendly website structure to improve organic search rankings
  • Identify and resolve website performance issues and technical red flags
  • Optimize website loading speed and user experience to reduce bounce rates
  • Provide regular updates on website improvements
  • Seek approval for graphic and front-end design changes before implementation

Requirements

  • Proven web development experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous website projects
  • Expertise in building SEO-friendly websites with a solid understanding of technical SEO requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating ownership and maturity in task execution

Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience working with real estate websites or similar industries
  • Familiarity with AI integration for website optimization and search visibility

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
