Shift Schedule

Ideally this person will work on a follow the sun style schedule where I film content during the day and send it over for editing. They would then edit, schedule, and post the content so that videos are consistently going live across platforms without requiring my direct involvement in the posting process.

Any time between 3PM to 3AM CST

The goal is to create a streamlined workflow where content is filmed daily and edited, scheduled, and distributed consistently across platforms.

 

Full Job Description

The role is a Social Media Content & Growth Manager focused on short form video platforms, primarily TikTok and Instagram. The main objective is to help scale brand awareness, engagement, and conversions through strategic content editing, scheduling, and performance tracking.

 

This role will support both my brand account, Goldie, as well as my personal social media account. My personal account focuses heavily on lifestyle, fitness, and running content while Goldie is a boutique and lifestyle brand. Both accounts rely heavily on short form video and require consistent high quality content that performs well on the platform.

 

Goldie is a fast growing boutique and lifestyle brand, so this role requires someone who understands fashion and influencer marketing, platform trends, and how to translate raw content into high performing posts that resonate with a targeted audience.

 

This person will take the content I film daily and transform it into polished, engaging videos that align with the brand’s identity while maximizing reach, watch time, and engagement.

 

Scope of Support

Primary responsibilities will include

 

• Editing short form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels using CapCut or similar software

• Scheduling and posting content across TikTok and Instagram

• Optimizing videos with trending sounds, captions, hooks, and formatting designed to increase reach and engagement

• Managing posting cadence and content scheduling

• Monitoring comments and assisting with high quality engagement on all social platforms

• Tracking analytics and performance metrics across posts

• Identifying patterns in high performing content to improve future videos

• Supporting influencer collaborations and affiliate marketing initiatives

• Assisting with creator outreach and influencer partnerships when relevant

• Helping maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all content

 

This role is heavily focused on short form video performance and growth strategy.

 

Specific Skill Requirements

 

Candidates must have strong experience in the following areas

 

• Short form video editing (CapCut preferred)

• TikTok platform expertise and knowledge of current trends

• Understanding of TikTok algorithm and content optimization

• Influencer marketing and affiliate marketing experience

• Social media growth strategy and audience targeting

• Strong understanding of brand identity and visual consistency

• Analytics tracking and performance reporting

• Experience posting and managing content across TikTok and Instagram

• Ability to identify viral hooks, storytelling formats, and high retention editing styles

•Experience with influencer marketing, shopmy, ltk, affiliate marketing, Pinterest

 

Experience working with fashion brands, boutiques, or influencer led brands is highly preferred.

Goldie is a fashion and lifestyle brand with a strong visual identity. The ideal candidate understands how to edit and present clothing, outfits, and lifestyle content in a way that feels aspirational but authentic.

 

They should have experience working with

Understanding how to highlight clothing details, styling, and storytelling through short form content is extremely important.

 

Content Strategy & Growth Support

 

In addition to editing, the ideal candidate should be able to contribute ideas around content performance and growth, including

 

• identifying trending formats and sounds

• suggesting viral hooks and storytelling formats

• improving watch time and retention

• optimizing captions and posting timing

• identifying patterns in high performing content

 

The goal is not just editing content but helping improve overall performance and audience growth.

 

Additional Candidate Requirements

 

Candidates should be able to provide examples of short form content they have edited or managed that achieved strong performance metrics. Ideally this would include

 

• videos that have achieved 100k+ views

• accounts they have helped grow

• examples of content that converted into product sales

• before and after examples of raw footage versus final edited content

 

This role is for someone who understands how to make short form content perform, not just how to edit videos.

 

Commitment

This will initially be a part time role with the potential to expand. The workload will depend on posting cadence but will likely require daily editing and scheduling support.
