Job Description

You’ll be the crucial first touchpoint in a high-impact sales process, turning marketing campaigns into qualified opportunities for a results-driven insurance team. This isn’t just cold calling—you’re the bridge between targeted marketing efforts and closed deals, working with an established agency that’s ready to scale and rewards performance. You’ll have the satisfaction of knowing your work directly contributes to business growth while earning performance bonuses for every qualified appointment you set.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific with an hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on targeted marketing campaigns (flyers and emails) with phone calls within 1-2 days of delivery
  • Conduct strategic cold calling to prospects in the California market, focusing on convenience stores, liquor stores, and gas stations
  • Gather essential contact information and preliminary business details from qualified prospects
  • Set high-quality appointments for insurance producers to follow up with quotes and proposals
  • Handle both personal lines (home and auto insurance) and commercial insurance prospects
  • Maintain accurate prospect records and appointment details in CRM system
  • Work within established KPIs and performance metrics to ensure appointment quality
  • Split time effectively between personal lines and commercial insurance prospects

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cold calling and appointment setting (insurance industry experience is a bonus)
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, confident phone presence
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and gather information from business owners
  • Experience working with CRM systems and phone software platforms
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on quality over quantity
  • Bonus if you have experience in the insurance industry or B2B sales
