Title Specialist

Location: Remote
Schedule: 35–40 hours/week

Position Overview
The Title Specialist supports the title process by completing assigned tasks related to title transfers, for all
inventory. This role focuses on executing day-to-day activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring
all required documents are submitted and tracked properly.
This position supports the title function reporting to the Sales Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Duties may include all duties reasonably associated with the role of Title Specialist, including, but not
limited to:
Task Execution
● Complete assigned title-related tasks accurately and on time
● Submit documents for title transfers as directed
● Update internal trackers and systems with current status
● Develop a strong understanding of the title transfer process across multiple states
● Build the knowledge and consistency needed to support and guide others when needed.

Title Support
● Assist with title transfers for all inventory.
● Gather and organize required documentation
● Help ensure files are complete before submission

Tracking & Updates
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assigned title files
● Track progress and note any missing items
● Provide updates to the Sales Operations Manager as requested

Follow-Up & Escalation
● Follow up on assigned items (documents, signatures, status checks)
● Flag delays, missing information, or issues to leadership
● Escalate anything outside of standard process

What Success Looks Like
● Tasks are completed accurately and on time
● Title files are organized and up to date
● No missed steps or incomplete submissions
● Clear communication on status and issues
● Titles are transferred accurately and within required state-specific timeframes

Qualifications
● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

● Reliable attendance
● Able to follow processes and instructions
● Comfortable handling repetitive tasks with accuracy
● Basic communication skills
● Previous remote work experience with proven ability to work independently
● Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and financial reporting tools
Preferred (not required):
● Experience with administrative work, data entry, or document processing
● Exposure to title work, DMV processes, or real estate
● Proficiency with Rent Manager property management software
Requirements
● Ability to use company-provided computers, property management software, and related
technology tools
● Reliable high-speed internet connection
● Dedicated workspace for conducting professional activities
● Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of company and resident information
● Ability to manage multiple deadlines
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
● Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to proactively resolve discrepancies.
● Must be able to work collaboratively across departments and communicate clearly with field teams.
● Willingness to complete random drug testing as required, in compliance with all applicable Local,
State, and Federal regulations
● Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of any lawfully permitted background
check conducted after a conditional job offer, consistent with Local, State, Federal, and other applicable
laws
● Must meet company standards for reliability and trust appropriate for a position of responsibility
within a residential community
