Job Overview

Our client is a thriving quick-service restaurant franchise in South Florida serving an upscale demographic with high expectations for quality and hospitality. They are seeking a Catering Sales Assistant to play a pivotal role in scaling their catering division. This role is a dynamic blend of high-touch customer service and strategic B2B lead generation. You will support the in-house team during peak morning hours while building new relationships with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, banks, and medical practices to drive revenue growth.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week. Peak Hours: 8:00/9:00 AM – 12:30/1:00 PM Eastern Time (Florida). Potential to scale to full-time based on business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Conduct strategic LinkedIn outreach and cold calling to the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and financial sectors to generate qualified catering leads.
  • Order Management: Take incoming catering orders and handle modifications, address changes, and special requests with exceptional professional phone etiquette.
  • Consultative Selling: Guide customers through menu selections and provide personalized recommendations based on their specific event needs.
  • Data Tracking: Create and maintain detailed Google Spreadsheets to track lead outreach, prospect status, and follow-up activities.
  • Operational Support: Support the Catering Manager during peak morning hours with real-time order coordination and team communication via Slack.
  • Hospitality Standards: Maintain the high standards of hospitality expected by an upscale clientele, ensuring 100% order accuracy and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven background in B2B lead generation and customer service, preferably dealing with demanding or high-end clientele.
  • Communication: Exceptional English proficiency with a clear, professional, and warm phone presence.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Drive (Docs/Sheets) and Slack.
  • Multitasking: Ability to switch seamlessly between outbound sales hunting and inbound service calls as demand fluctuates.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, a proactive "can-do" attitude, and the ability to learn complex menus quickly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is a significant bonus.
  • Experience in sales outreach specifically to medical or pharmaceutical professionals.
  • Ability to work independently while staying tightly coordinated with an on-site team.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and a reliable, high-speed internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
