Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Social Media Specialist to lead their content operations. This is a "logistics and language" role—you won’t be responsible for creating visual assets. Instead, you will be the engine that keeps the content machine running. You will manage the bridge between the creative team and live feeds, ensuring every post across multiple brands is captioned perfectly and scheduled flawlessly.

  • Monday - Friday, Flexible during business hours in Central Time (20

hours per week)

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring

Responsibilities

  • Calendar Management: Own and maintain content calendars for multiple brands, ensuring a consistent and strategic posting cadence.
  • Copywriting: Write engaging, brand-aligned captions and social media copy. You must be able to adapt your "voice" to suit different brand identities.
  • Scheduling & Publishing: Use Loomly to stage and schedule posts, ensuring 100% accuracy in timing, tagging, and platform-specific formatting.
  • Workflow Coordination: Utilize Asana to track tasks, coordinate with the team for visual assets, and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Proactive Communication: Identify content gaps early and communicate with the team to ensure no posting dates are missed.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record of managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously.
  • Writing Skills: Strong English copywriting skills with a focus on hooks, CTAs, and social media etiquette.
  • Organizational Mastery: You live in your task manager and never let a deadline slip.
  • Technical Proficiency: High comfort level with Loomly and Asana (or very similar tools like Buffer or ClickUp).
  • Reliability: While the schedule is flexible within business hours, our client needs someone who is consistent and reachable during those windows.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
