Our client is looking for an Assistant Case Manager to support essential case operations within the personal injury funding space. You will serve as a vital link between injured clients, law firms, and medical providers, ensuring that all documentation is meticulously organized and that cases move forward efficiently. Client Overview

A specialized funding company dedicated to the personal injury sector. They work closely with attorneys and medical professionals to provide injured individuals with necessary financial and medical support while their legal cases are ongoing. The team is detail-oriented, client-focused, and driven by the goal of facilitating justice and recovery.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mountain Time, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Case Coordination: Assist Case Managers with the daily oversight of personal injury cases, ensuring all files are accurate and up to date.
  • Documentation Management: Collect, review, and organize critical records, including medical records, billing statements, liens, and case updates.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate professionally with law firms and medical offices to obtain missing information and provide timely status updates.
  • Data Integrity: Enter and maintain precise case data in internal systems; follow up on outstanding requests and strict deadlines.
  • Funding Support: Support the funding and approval processes to ensure clients receive support when needed.
  • Compliance: Maintain high standards of confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and relevant legal regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a legal, medical, or personal injury–related environment.
  • Strong familiarity with personal injury legal workflows or medical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or specialized case management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple case priorities simultaneously.
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working specifically within a personal injury law firm or medical billing office (Highly Regarded).
  • Familiarity with the lifecycle of a personal injury claim, from intake to settlement (Preferred).
  • Ability to identify discrepancies in medical billing or case documentation (Preferred).

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
