Job Overview
Our client is looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage daily financial operations, with a focus on credit card batch reconciliation and general ledger maintenance. This role provides essential support to the front office team and office manager to ensure seamless financial operations within a cloud-hosted environment.

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Perform daily credit card batch reconciliation by matching individual transactions to batched bank deposits to ensure accuracy and prevent month-end backlogs
- Maintain and update general ledger entries within Sage 50, ensuring all financial records are accurate and current
- Prepare and deliver monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets for management review
- Manage bank reconciliation processes across all company accounts on a consistent schedule
- Support accounts receivable functions including tracking outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments
- Provide backup support for bill payments and general administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the front office team and office manager to ensure seamless financial operations
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Sage 50 bookkeeping and reconciliation workflows
- Strong understanding of credit card batching processes and how to match deposits to individual e-commerce transactions
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
- Knowledge of depreciable assets, depreciation schedules, and balance sheet maintenance
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data
- Strong organizational and time management skills to maintain daily reconciliation discipline
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once onboarded
Scope
- Start as a part-time role (20 hours per week) with potential to transition to full-time
- Operate within a cloud-hosted environment using Ace Cloud Computing
