Global Student Support & Operations Specialist

Overview:

This role is a dynamic customer support and administrative position that requires managing high-volume inquiries via calls and the Crisp platform across Australian, UK, and Irish business hours. You will bridge international time zones by conducting outreach to educational institutions and researching university requirements while maintaining seamless collaboration with the Australian team via Slack. A successful candidate will leverage strong English communication skills and a proactive mindset to handle complex business processes and essential data management tasks. 

Schedule:

Flexible time during client business hours - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK Time, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer calls during extended Australian business hours (5pm-10pm or later)
  • Provide UK and Ireland customer support coverage during busy examination periods
  • Respond to customer support emails and tickets through the Crisp platform
  • Learn the business operations across four different jurisdictions with overlapping processes
  • Handle administrative tasks during quieter periods, including data entry and spreadsheet management
  • Conduct outbound calls to schools and educational institutions
  • Research university information and requirements for various programs
  • Organize and maintain email templates for customer communications
  • Collaborate with the Australian team through Slack and other communication tools

Requirements:

  •  Excellent English communication skills with clear and professional delivery
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex business processes
  • Experience with customer service platforms (Crisp preferred)
  • Familiarity with communication tools like Slack and Aircall
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Experience in education or healthcare sectors preferred
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer support

Scope:

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • Flexible scheduling between 5pm-2am Australian time to cover UK/Ireland hours
  • Coverage during cyclical busy periods around examination dates
  • Potential for role expansion based on performance and business needs
  • Direct integration with existing Australian customer service team
  • Opportunity to transition to additional administrative responsibilities during slower periods
