Overview:

As a dedicated bookkeeper, you will manage end-to-end financial operations by handling weekly reconciliations, payroll processing, and the coordination of quarterly BAS filings. Utilizing platforms like NAB, HubDoc, and Square, you will bridge the gap between daily operations and ATO compliance while ensuring the accuracy of all year-end financial records. This role requires a high degree of integrity and independence to maintain seamless financial continuity and meet strict regulatory deadlines.

Schedule: 10 hours per week, Melbourne Australia Time Zone

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping on a weekly basis
• Coordinate and file quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• Process employee payroll and ensure timely filing
• Liaise directly with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as required
• Reconcile banking transactions and align financial data
• Maintain accurate financial records and annual accounting

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Familiarity with National Australian Bank (NAB) platforms
• Proficiency in HubDoc for receipt management
• Experience with Square point-of-sale systems
• Strong integrity and honesty in handling financial affairs
• Ability to work independently and meet strict filing deadlines
