Job Overview:
This role focuses on driving outbound sales through strategic cold calling and emailing to secure qualified appointments with enterprise-level prospects. We are seeking a self-motivated professional who can work independently and manage their own pipeline with high efficiency. Most importantly, you must be capable of leading consultative conversations that resonate with technical stakeholders, specifically engineers and operations leaders.
Client Overview:
Our client is a global data company specializing in transaction intelligence and payment processing solutions. They provide structured purchase intelligence and itemized data sets for transactions across any currency, processor, and banking system worldwide.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, Flexible hours across US Time Zones (Eastern, Pacific, Mountain, or Hawaiian Time) [starting at 20 hours per week with strong potential to transition to full-time 40 hours per week based on performance]
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily cold calling and cold emailing campaigns to prospects in the fintech and payment processing verticals
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments with technical decision-makers including engineers, operations teams, and technical leadership
- Utilize the provided prospect lists from data enrichment tools to execute outbound outreach on a daily or weekly cadence
- Engage in consultative conversations with prospects about payment processing systems, transaction data, and technical integrations
- Maintain flexible scheduling to reach prospects across multiple US time zones and optimize contact rates.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B outbound sales with a track record of appointment setting and lead generation
- Strong knowledge of fintech, payment processing, transaction systems, and how money moves through financial systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss technical concepts with engineers and operations professionals
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Familiarity with data enrichment and contact sourcing tools such as ZoomInfo or Apollo
- Tech-savvy background with understanding of how systems work from a global perspective
- Experience with long sales cycles and enterprise-level prospect engagement
